Ben Dineen is a longtime practitioner and instructor of yoga, taiji, and qigong. He hopes to always be a curious explorer of this play of life, and it's interplay of movement and stillness, as it relates to the well-being of mind and body, and to the deeper levels of Self understanding. Some of his other interests include doing digital art, writing, hiking, and gardening. :)
Ben began his formal studies of meditation and yoga in his first year of college. His studies of yoga began in 1996 with Ben Thomas, in the Iyengar Yoga Tradition. Ben is grateful for His loving guidance, and for all of the practical wisdom that has been shared. He has also been practicing taiji and qigong since 1999, and this continued exploration has included many years studying Chen Taiji and Qigong with Tony Wong, who has been a great inspiration and guide. Over the years, Ben has also had the good fortune to study and train with a variety of different teachers and practitioners, in yoga, taiji / qigong, and a variety of other martial and movement arts... and for this he is very grateful. Since 2002 he has been offering classes, workshops, and retreats in yoga, taiji, qigong, movement exploration, and meditation to various individuals, groups, and companies, based in the SF Bay Area.
